"Jin Hackman & Friends" @ Outloud Studios, Damansara Perdana

I must admit, this has to be the weirdest show that we've done (as you can see in the video below). But i loved the crowd cause they were very very responsive. And i think Rogue Squadron kinda schooled them on what hip hop really is. hehe i'd like to thank Jocular, MicWrecka, Boss Chan, Schizzow and Saph for performing and also Alif, Jason, Faiz, HQA and Cik Bedah for hanging with us.

LOL.

KK (no you don't add another K here)

Hello! Sabah was pretty fucking awesome! The food was great, the people were exceptionally nice, the Bandwidth launch party was cool, yada yada. thank you Bandwidth (what's up, Arthur?!) for making this one happen. ya'll keep on keeping on! shoutout to my main man Chris too for driving me around and letting me use his studio for free hahaha. here are some pictures from the recording session (for my new single) and some from the Bandwidth event (other performers included Jiaja, Sasuka, Andalusia, Alvin of Infinatez and Kinabalu Kingz) i'm still waiting for more pics

shoutout to Kevin Yeoh and Juice for the much needed exposure. <3 ya'll and here's Balan of KLG Sqwad giving RS a shoutout during his crazy off the dome freestyle. we got nothing but love and respect for KLG too. also mad props to EGO TV for putting up these sick videos. keep em coming!

The Kashmir's Climate

YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT RS IS TAKING OVER RIGHT ;)

RS @ Monash Music Festival

It was one helluva show. We hit the stage at around 630pm, right after a Capoeira performance and rocked shit for 25 minutes - our longest and probably best performance yet as a group/rogue squadron. On stage with me were Jocular, Mushroom Buttons, NBE, HQA, WordsManifest and Shazet the beatboxer. The crowd even though not as huge as the one at night were very responsive and looked like they really enjoyed our set. and trust, we as performers had lotsa fun too. Big ups to our friends/crewmates who were there at the front row supporting us; Alif Omar, Boss Chan, Liana, Sara, Icky, Kelsey, Shalene, etc. And even those who were misinformed and only came 2 hours after my set - naim and dment, thanks for coming anyway!

Below are some pictures and videos (pics courtesy of Christopher Sam, Kelsey, Boss Chan and Amahl Ashraf, vids taken by Boss Chan)

the other show at IACT before the monash music fest. this was around 1230pm and was more like 'soundcheck' for us lol

a few minutes before our performance at monash. shazet's game face ON

Getting shit setted up

WE'RE ON! LET'S GO!

blap blap blam

WordsManifest makes a comeback!!

"sa'll good in muh childhoooood"

three be the magic number dawg

Mushroom Buttons and Jocular killin it

as nbe would say, "no homo"

Hi, Jin Hackman is I

ROGUE SQUADRON'S IN THE BUILDING, BEETCHES

Later at night, i shared the stage with Ben's Bitches! ;) I freestyled on their last song and thank god it came out very smooth but too bad there is no video footage of it. Alif was too excited that he forgot to record and Kevin (Ben's Bitches cool ass hypeman) 's handycam ran out of battery towards the end of Ben's Bitches performance. here's a picture

best believe, the cameo was EPIC. ;)

All in all, Monash Music Festival was fucking dope. Definitely looking forward to rocking shit with Rogue Squadron again. 8 -10 people on stage baru wutang brotha

Firstly, Heezy Rock has been on Hitz.FM's Met10 for 2 weeks already. Please vote for it here: http://www.hitz.fm/charts/MET10/default.asp . you do not have to register or anything. it's very simple: just click the link i gave you and on the same page, click 'VOTE' beside my song. do it a million times or at least twice a day. i know it's going to be difficult for heezy rock to top the chart but yo i'd be happy enough if it can even survive in that bitch for 2-3 months. so please vote ok! your help is much appreciated (met10 is every sunday 4pm)

Secondly, tune in to XFM (103.0 if you're in KL) tonight at 10pm (Boom Boxx) to listen to one whole hour of Rogue Squadron music. Big ups to Adly for making this happen. MHI

Yours truly was on national TV last month! Thanks to Yz i got to be on MHI (Malaysia Hari Ini), TV3 for a short interview and a two songs performance. Together with me were NBE and HQA and fuck yeah we rocked that shit even though i heard that the first song (still hip hop) sounded like i was doing an acapella cause the beat was played at such a low volume. ill try to get the footage from TV3 soon cause so far the only footage we have is a 2minutes clip of the second song, MC which was recorded on Alif's handphone. and he doesn't have the proper cable to transfer the video to his PC. LOL. Oh yeah by the way we chilled with Norish Karman at TV3 she's so hawt wtf. passed her a copy of my cd too not sure what she thinks of it hahaha she likes the album cover though said that it looks 'raw' woots

Recap

Hello hello.

Where was i again? Oh right, Sunburst. Sorry about the lack of updates i've been really busy with University and whatnot. Anyways, the show at Sunburst went down pretty well although it was my first time doing drum n bass and the crowd wasn't that big since our set was right after Korn's so most people had already left. i had lotsa fun nonetheless. Here are some pictures courtesy of Mc Reza's wifey

Jin Hackman and MC Reza (this dude speaks a whole other language when he's on the mic, bumbaclart!!)

Shoutout to DJ Anowl for the opportunity to rock the stage with him

"rappers say they wanna step to me but ain't showing up like Erykah Badu, still i keeps it going on and on like Korn when i perform"

The drum n bass crowd. And this was around 1am i guess. Crazy awesome peeps.

This year's Sunburst ain't as good as last year's where there were The Roots, John Legend, Incognito, etc etc etc but it was still dope nonetheless. IMO, SUNBURST 2009=KORN. watching them perform A.D.I.D.A.S. live was orgasmic! NERD did their thing too. I liked the part where Pharell temporarily stopped the show to screw an annoying photographer. Niice.

And here are pictures from The Bomb Shelter III (March, 2009) which MicWrecka headlined.
Phalanx performed!

MC iLLevate representing Japan!! oh no he's not here anymore, went back to sushi land lol

Me performing my verse for MicWrecka's Flatline!

Uh huh. My CD's RM19.90 now. Siapa suruh tak beli hari tu.

This TBS had the highest attendance so far. I've never seen Cloth & Clef that packed before. Lecturer MicWrecka definitely has the support of all his LKW students!

PHALANX IS IN THE BUILDING! ! ok where's Schizzow -__-

You hafta make sure you have these two albums in your cd collection. Cause they're both Rogue Squadron products and you know that Rogue Squadron is all about quality hip hop. :)

Peace
